James Hollier

Portfolio Manager & Managing Partner

Mr. Hollier is Portfolio Manager and Co-Managing Partner of Silver Beech Capital Management with ultimate authority over the firm’s investment activities and decisions. Prior to co-founding Silver Beech, Mr. Hollier was an investor at TPG where he evaluated and managed private equity investments with a focus on real estate-rich platforms, portfolios, and operating companies. Prior to his time at TPG, Mr. Hollier worked as an investor at Morgan Stanley in the Merchant Banking and Real Estate Investing group. At TPG and Morgan Stanley, Mr. Hollier managed investments and invested equity valued in excess of $2 billion. Mr. Hollier received his B.A. in Economics and History from Brown University.

Mr. Kovacs is Co-Managing Partner of Silver Beech Capital Management and shares responsibility with Mr. Hollier for managing the firm and evaluating investments. Prior to co-founding Silver Beech, Mr. Kovacs was Chief Financial Officer at TruSight, a leading risk data company backed by JPMorgan, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo, that was acquired by S&P Global (NYSE: SPGI). Mr. Kovacs helped launch TruSight, oversaw its growth and commercialization, and directed its sale. Prior to his time at TruSight, Mr. Kovacs helped found Varagon Capital Partners, a leading direct lender to middle-market companies acquired by Man Group (LSE: EMG). He also served as Head of Strategy and Finance at LiquidX, an electronic platform for the exchange of trade finance assets which sold a majority stake to Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR). Mr. Kovacs received his B.A. in Economics from Brown University.
